to Electrical Service
 The
City of Grand Forks operates its own electric utility.
The Electrical Department has a crew of three journeyman
line technicians who are responsible for the operation
and maintenance of the utility, which includes approximately
50 kilometres of electrical lines.
The maintenance and operation of the system includes
connecting and disconnecting customers to and from the
electrical system, maintaining the street light system,
reading electrical meters, and general system maintenance
of poles and wires. |
