On October 15th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the City Park Senior’s Centre, Curtis Braaten, from Haskap Central Sales in Henribourg, Saskatchewan, will be speaking on his extensive knowledge and experience in growing Haskap.
His association with Dr. Bob Bors from the University of Saskatoon, a leading developer of production cultivars, will afford all those interested in the opportunity of visioning a ground-level opportunity for Grand Forks and Area. Stay tuned to your local news media for more.
Grand Forks Elections Page Update

The City of Grand Forks wishes to advise that the Elections page on our website has been updated to include information regarding Elector Registration and also regarding the Notice of Nomination period.
Those persons considering running for either Mayor or Council for the City of Grand Forks may pick up their nomination packages from City Hall during normal City Hall working hours.

The City of Grand Forks, as part of its Asset Management Plan is holding an open meeting Thursday, September 8th from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM in Council Chambers at City Hall.
This Asset Management Public Outreach plan will be an interactive session between Mayor and Council; City Staff and Michael Trickey of Urban Systems Ltd. The public is welcome to attend.
September 6th Council Meeting

The next meeting of Council will be on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 in Council Chambers and will start off with a Special Meeting to go In-Camera for 5:00pm.
There will be a public hearing at 6:30pm with regard to an amendment to the City of Grand Forks Zoning Bylaw and requested by the applicants Balwant & Usha Rani Sandhu for their property located at 1726-72nd Avenue.
The Regular Meeting of Council will commence at 7:00pm.
25th Anniversary Rick Hansen Medal Relay Volunteers
