We have just recently arrived in your gorgeous little city and are trying desperatly to settle in here, but no one will rent to us. I truly adore the city, with it's friendly quaint residents alongside the ever-so-charming shops to make it even more worthy of a Norman Rockwell painting. But does Grand Forks not like new people coming to this tight knit community from another province? Would we have more luck if we moved along?? :*( |

We did a rather fleeting trip to the Rockies in Sep. and passed through Grand Forks on our way home. Although our time was limited, we did manage to visit your info. beauro. At that time they were busy with interior alterations! However, the staff there were most helpful and accommodating. We are considering another vist to your town with the intention of doing further investigation and possibly relocating in 2009. As a point of interest, we are ex South Africans, arriving in Canada 8 years ago, and would like to know more about Grand forks. |
