why the property around Extra foods was not sold and
a mall or canadian tire, wall mart ect. not put there,
it certinaly would bring economy and population growth
to the city which would help out the existing and new
businesses not to mention tax dollars to the city. Come

recently had to make a quick trip to G.F. as my Dad
was very ill and was transported by ambulance to Trail,
I would like to Thank especially, Dr.Stephanelli, the
Stavenjords, Norm & Olive, Walter & Lenore,
Joe & Sharon, Liz and Todd scott from the Grand
Forks, and most of all Bee, Thanks for looking out for
him, my four son's think that he is the sun, moon, and
stars and I am so very thankful to have the friends
and family that we do in G.F. It was great to get a
"Sheila Burger" again, and grand Forks will
always be my home, God Bless all, a special hello to
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Babikiaoff, and Happy Birthday Dad,

husband, daughter and I visited Grand Forks last summer
on our way to see family in Nelson and we just loved
your city! So nice to see a small city/town with a really
stong community spirit and such nice curb appeal! As
Vancouver becomes more expensive we often consider relocating
and Grand Forks is our first choice so far - finding
employment in your fair city is a must but we are strongly

Hi
2 wks ago my family had to come to GF, because my 10yr.
old son had to have a ultrasound at the hospital and
as there is only one tech.in Nelson, so we all travelled
over to GF and spent the day in your wonderful little
city. Everyone is so polite and helpful from the staff
at the Hospital, to the employees at the Dairy Queen,
employees at the Dollar Store and More, and we even
spent some time in the tot park. I just wnted to let
everyone know how wonderfully we were all treated, smiles,
and hi's everywhere we went. We were treated so well
that we are coming back at the end of June for another

the last 18yrs of motorcycles and 10 or 12 trips to
Banff and half as many to Jasper, most have pass through
Grand Forks. Every time I'm in your town I have this
incredible pull to your valley. I am 49yrs oldand have
6 and a bit left. I want to call Grand Forks home when
I retire. I live on Vancouver Island and I never want
to deal with B.C. Ferries again, unless it's by choice. |
