they got married across the border in Republic. In 1957.
My Father,Son and I came to visit last summer after
30 plus years the Town is still the most beautifulist

am in Edmonton now but I was born in Grand Forks in
1968 and I lived there on and off for years, my dreams
are to retire there one day and be put to rest in the
same place I was born. No matter where I live, it always

about 7 years old. My parents moved from Saskatchewan
in winter of 1946. I often wonder if the house we had
is still there on Kettle Drive I think it was called.
